Forbes magazine recognized Addison Rae in August of 2020, as the most popular TikToker in the world. In addition, she is among the most popular users on TikTok. Addison Rae's popularity on TikTok is extended beyond TikTok to other platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter. The singer made her debut a singer when she released her hit single Obsessed in 2021. In 2021 she released the single Obsessed. In the New Zealand Hot Singles chart it reached no. 4, and on YouTube was the 6th most watched video. Addison Rae was also nominated for some prestigious awards like The People's Choice Awards, MTV Movie & TV Awards, and Kids' Choice Awards.
